Simple Staircase Remodel​

The client expressed a desire to upgrade the staircase by opting for a darker stain on the wood treads, which was a relatively simple transformation to achieve. The change involved applying a rich, deep stain that enhanced the natural beauty of the wood, adding a sense of sophistication and depth to the entire staircase. In addition to the stained treads, we tackled the challenge of updating the balusters. The original wooden balusters were replaced with sleek steel cables, a change that significantly altered the look of the stair railing. Steel cables have become an increasingly popular choice in modern home designs due to their minimalist, industrial aesthetic. They provide a clean, open feel, allowing the natural beauty of the wood treads and surrounding space to shine through without the heavy, traditional look of wood balusters.
