Family Room Remodel​

We were given the exciting challenge of transforming this dated space with drywall cubbies into something modern, sleek, and truly captivating. The original design, featuring a standard fireplace surrounded by uninspired drywall shelving, lacked character and didn’t reflect the bold, contemporary look the homeowners desired. Our goal was to create a visually stunning focal point that would bring a wow factor to the entire room.

The first step was to completely strip the existing design. We removed the old drywall cubbies and the outdated fireplace, giving us a blank canvas to work with. With the layout cleared, we carefully planned a new feature wall that would not only be functional but also a showpiece.

To achieve this, we introduced a custom-designed accent wall that incorporated rich, stained wood slats. These slats were meticulously installed to create a sense of depth, texture, and sophistication. The natural warmth of the wood contrasted beautifully with the clean lines and modern aesthetic we were aiming for.

To enhance the ambiance and take the design to the next level, we installed stylish sconce lights along the feature wall. These weren’t just ordinary lights

they were color changing sconces that could adapt to different moods and occasions. Whether the homeowners wanted a soft, relaxing glow or vibrant, dynamic colors for a party, these lights could deliver it all.

The result was a stunning transformation. The once bland and outdated space was now a modern masterpiece, with the accent wall and lighting drawing the eye and adding a sense of luxury and sophistication to the room. The combination of natural wood tones and customizable lighting created an atmosphere that was both inviting and contemporary a perfect blend of functionality and style that exceeded expectations.
